We get an inquiry from Michael through LEDLucky’s Alibaba website, he is engaged in a sports lighting project in Germany: Newly built indoor standard tennis court requires high-efficiency lighting, and the installation height is 10M

After talking with the customer, we learned about the data and requirements of the tennis court, and our engineer did the DIAlux simulation according the the actual situation of the tennis court, and determined the final project plan: using 80pcs 200W Agility LED sports light, Philip SMD5050 LEDs, 5700K, Philip 220-240VAC Driver, A34(polarization 50°) optics, RA70, lighting efficiency up to 150lm/W, aluminum shell, black coating, non-dimmable. Because tennis court does not have light poles, we provide them Equipped with a “U”-shaped mounting bracket, considering that there are many thunderstorms in the customer’s area, we equipped them with surge protectors, wire protectors, and provided them with a 5-year warranty period.

The customer was very satisfied with our plan and paid the payment in time. We also delivered the goods on the agreed time. During the installation process of the customer, we kept in touch all the time, and finally completed the project within 3 months. In May 2020, we bid for a project from the SHENZHEN municipal government: Futian Port Entry-Exit Inspection Hall Lighting Project. General requirement of this project: beautiful lamps, bright and soft light,energy saving,intelligent control,remote control, also with the needs of the emergency.

After understanding the customer’s need, our project team selected Elite Gen Ⅱ series linear light for bidding,the main feature of this light are:

We received an inquiry from HONGKONG customer on 2st Jan,2021.They have a 5-kilometer road that needs to be paved with street lights.The distance between each light is 25 meters,and 400 lights are laid on both sides of the road,light pole height 6 meters, and because there are many trees on both sides of the road, the lumen value of the existing street lights can no longer meet the lighting requirements. Complaint are often received that the light is too dark,and there are frequent traffic accidents, so now it’s necessary to replace the street light with higher illumination. However, due to the cost, the total power of the light can’t be changed, and the project period only have four months, so the construction period is relatively urgent.

The company where Davis works is mainly engaged in road lighting and venue lighting engineering in Hong Kong. It is our strategic partner. So after receiving the project, we arranged our project team to follow up the project at the first time.

According to customer’s requirement, the power of each light in previous road is 100W, and the efficiency is about 100lm/W, the luminous flux is 10000LM,which is enough when there is no tree cover, but after several years of aging, the shading caused by the growth of surrounding trees.

So our engineer did a DIAlux simulation for the customer,and recommend one of our most popular products: SKYLIGHT II, power 100W, luminous efficacy 150lm/w, 15000lm luminous flux and illuminance.Under the condition of constant power, the overall luminous flux increased by 1.5 times , fully meet the needs of customers.

After confirm the plan with the customer, after less than a month,the product was produced and passed 100% testing and quality inspection. We also arranged engineers to install and debug with the customer, from demand, project approval, research and development,production,testing, transportation,delivering,installation,while ensuring the quality, completed the customer’s project ahead of schedule.

After the customer used our solution,the overall brightness became 1.5 times brighter without increasing the power of the light,and no complaints were received, the customer was full of praise for the comparison.

As we all know that sports court with bright and uniform light would bring so many positive effects to players. We are proud to say that our Variflood light with its various advantages is very suitable for indoor/ outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts or football courts, etc.

Recently we received a project reference from our partners in France. The project was finished end of August and it is for an indoor basketball court. Our partner feedback that our 220W Variflood Gen 2 with 145lm/W, 90deg beam angle matched very well with the customer’s requirement. As our partner is also very professional for stadium lighting, so they chose the right power and beam angle from their own Dialux simulation. But pls do not worry that we are also free for such kind of project simulation, so if you have a similar project, just come to us at any time and we will offer you some support.

After discussing with the partner, we got to know that they prefer branded leds and drivers, and our standard version with Lumileds and Philips driver is what they accepted. So in order to help to get a good lighting effects, we tried to make a dialux simulation for them with our 100W version 150lm/W and 90deg beam angle, and the result is that 60pcs is enough for the installation area.

When the partner received this offer, they were satisfied with the result, and then after 2 days later, they sent the order to us, and asked us to finish the production within 25days because this project is much urgent. In order to support them, we talked to our material supplier and tried every effort to get the material in time and produced in this short time, and then the partner arranged air shipment to their warehouse.

In August, we received the installation pictures, and got a positive feedback from our partner, and due to our high bay, the basketball court becomes a bright place and make the players perform better. We are always happy to receive such comments and this will also encourage us to try best to bring light to the world.

At the middle of 2020, client had asked light fittings for swimming pool, indoor basketball court and outdoor basketball court at the same college.

Considering the different lux require of different sports fields and easy of installation and use, we suggest our Sirius S flood light which has loop in/out connection for easy installation.

According lighting calculation,mixing lens S14 and lens A18 of Sirius S will be matched to the lux level of sports fields.

The project was succesfully completed in July 2021. Both of client and designer are satisfied with the final performance.

For the lighting of sports courts such as basketball courts, the projectors of the Variflood light range are the ideal choice thanks to their high power range(75W~600W) and adjustable projection angle as well as different optic choice.

The new lighting installed offers a significant improvement in terms of live visibility(No flickering and glare to ensure a comfortable view of the spectators) and good effect with TV broadcast, which optimizes the good development of the sports activities that take place in this enclosure of the Sports Palace.

This project started from August of year 2019,and the original option is ArenaPro 1500W model 5 modules.

We provided the sample for approval end of August,and the result is good.Later on customer found the installation problem due to the actual application facilities limitation of height,which allow the luminaire height not more than 80cm,but ArenaPro 1500W 5 modules height is 945cm.

So we swift the solution to ArenaSharp 1500W 4 modules,which height is only 74cm.The first sample was delivered to customer in January 2020,and the test result is pretty good.Then new problem occured,that the total fixture weight is 52kg,end user would like to reduce the weight considering the insallation.Our product team started the job of weight reduction immediately,and provided solutions by reducing the heatsink weight,the bracket structure redesign and remove the glass cover,finally the total weight is reduced from 52kg to 30kg only. During the heatsink molding process,we were waiting for the project confirmation until April 2021.

Considering the project deadline is extremely urgent for customer,we were trying the best to finish the order within 30 days by our supply chains management.The project was succesfully completed in June 2021,and final performance far more beyond end user’s expectation.
